Better Jobs Faster was created out of the desire to create a resource that is truly helpful to job seekers. Dan DeMaioNewton, Director of Strategy and Business Development at Monster Worldwide has worked with leaders around the world on employment, workforce development, and economic development to help them find and implement real ways to get people not just back to work, but to get them better jobs faster.
Encountering many job seekers along the way, Dan's wish was to be helpful to those seeking jobs, as well as those seeking better jobs. The site originally served as a way for Dan to keep in touch with job seekers and their progress, while providing support and inside insights into what was happening in the job market. Since then, the group and site has expanded, but the vision remains to find what it truly takes to help people get better jobs faster.
There's a ton of information out there, but the focus for our group is to identify what works, how it works, and how to make it work for you - to help you get a job, get a better job, or help others to get a job.
This is a place for you to update your status on your job search to keep others informed, and to connect with other community members to help improve your chances to landing a job. Welcome.
This site is a public meeting place that provides Job Seekers with a calendar with job seeker events and career fairs, discussion forums to engage, learn, and share your experiences, member profiles with objectives and connections, and more. We encourage you to upload your photo, complete your profile and participate!
I believe that there is a better way to help people get better jobs faster. That involves the right information in the right place at the right time, community networking - people helping people, and better tools to find the right job for you. Our goal is that this be a place that brings you peace, sanctuary, and is, most importantly, truly helpful to you.
